It was a relief not to have the constant whirr of the aeroplane's engines whining and pulsating in my ears. My brain was a bit fuzzy - what's new you ask? - and after being on the go for nearly 35 hours we finally landed at Heathrow, London at 11 in the morning. The Air NZ Terminal is miles away from the main Arrivals hall and we walked for ages before getting our bags and clearing customs.
We were met by family and whisked off to Crowthorne in Berkshire. I was bullied into going on a walk and although I tried to resist it was a great thing for clearing my head.
We saw squirrels scampering up trees as we wandered through the grounds of Wellington College, a very posh school with huge grounds including lots of cricket and football pitches and their own golf course and indoor swimming pool- all you sporty people would have loved it.
We are off to Devon today to see more family.

Thomas and Cameron Pop Guns Science Experiment
For their homework Cam and Thomas did a science experiment called Pop Guns.
It was an explosive experiment and here are the steps
1. Get a small container and fill 3/4 off it with baking soda and the rest with vinegar.
2. You quickly put the cap on the small container and the cap should explode into the air.

- After about 5 minutes in the fridge it will be cold put a bit of sodium acetate on your finger and dip it in the mixture and take it out and watch it freeze.
- You can reuse it by simply boiling it up and repeating the process.
