Room 8 have been learning about Pompeii and the eruption of Mt Vesuvius. We looked at mosaics and created some of our own using paper tiles. We also learnt about volcanic eruptions and the technology behind structures used in ancient Italy.
These look great Rm 8 - we were inspired by you work about Pompeii and made our own mini mosaics as part of our Roman workshops last term. It was great seeing mosaics from Pompeii at the exhibition at Te Papa and also interesting to see all the old graffiti and advertising they wrote on their town walls.
